Starting with our first safety-inspired product built in a garage and tested in a laboratory in December 1992, Composite Resources has evolved into an acknowledged expert in the design, prototyping and manufacture of custom and standard composite products. We have customers in practically every sector of industry throughout the United States and beyond.
One product offering that we here at Composite Resources take pride in is the Black Project™ line of carbon fiber composite sheet, tube, rod and angles, available in both standard and custom sizes. Our Black Project™ carbon fiber sheet stock is a three dimensional weave pattern manufactured from 2x2 twill weave 12K carbon fabric and a binding matrix of epoxy, with a smooth and sleek matte finish on both sides of the sheet, ready for display and use – no further finishing is required. In terms of composite carbon fiber sheet stock, Composite Resources carries twelve standard sizes, ranging from 12" by 12" up to 24" by 48", in thicknesses from 0.027" to 0.081". The standard sizes are included in the chart below:

In addition, Composite Resources has the in-house capability to produce custom composite carbon fiber sheets, up to 40" by 60" and up to 0.200" in thickness, with no finish machining or milling required. We can also produce custom thicknesses greater than 0.200", which are considered composite carbon fiber plate (rather than sheet), due to the greater thickness. Unlike carbon fiber sheet, the manufacture of composite carbon fiber plate does not result in a smooth finish; it requires additional machining and milling steps to produce a desirable smooth flat surface.
