Details 

Rising fuel costs decrease airline company revenue.  Airline manufacturer challenges seating company to reduce seat weight.  Seating company makes new design utilizing light weight composite components that are two-thirds the weight of traditional materials without any compromising strength or reliability.  New structure is more compact thereby allowing more seats per plane.  Increased revenue exceeds operating costs.
