Details 

Injuries on the battlefield leave soldiers without any way to control hemorrhaging. Former soldier has idea for new product. Working together a new product was developed - Combat Applications Tourniquet (C-A-T®). This was effective 100% of the time in quickly and effectively occluding arterial blood flow in both the upper and lower extremities in all trials.
